Sales of Delavan lake properties are lower for the first half of the year and inventory continues to fall.  Prices of the waterfront homes have held steady, while the lake access homes have fallen to a bargain level due to some remaining foreclosures. HOME SALES For the first six months, there were four lakefront properties sold and 20 lake access properties sold.  Last year at this time, there were seven lakefronts sold and 15 lake access properties sold.  The lake access properties this year ranged from a $49,000 three-bedroom cottage in the Delmar subdivision to a newer $330,000 three-bedroom two-story along 90’ of Browns Channel.  The lakefront sales included a $500,000 three-bedroom cottage situated on 100’ of prime South Shore frontage and topped out at $950,000 for four-bedroom North Shore home on 102’ of frontage.
