Sales of Delavan Lakefront and Lake Access Properties continue to improve over last year.HOME SALES
For the first six months, there were nine lakefront properties sold and five lake access property sold. Last year, there were four lakefronts sold and 10 lake access properties sold in the first half. The lake access properties ranged from a $36,000 cottage in Delmar Subdivision to a $227,500 two-bedroom in Del Oaks. The lakefronts ranged from a $291,000 short sale on Lake Trail to a $950,000 five-bedroom, six-bath home with 125 feet of frontage.
The Delavan Lake condominium market raced ahead of last year. There have been 11 sales this year compared to one last year. Sales ranged from a $57,900 condo/hotel unit to a $194,000 two-bedroom Delavan Club unit.
CURRENT MARKET HOMES
There are 111 single family homes on the market with lakefront or lake access on Delavan Lake. This is up from 95 last year. The lake access properties start at $48,500 for a small two-bedroom cottage and increase to $550,000 for a four-bedroom home with lake views and a swim pier. Lakefront homes start at $335,000 for a three-bedroom home on Brown’s Channel and progress to $2,499,900 for a six-bedroom home with 132 feet of frontage on North Shore Drive.
CURRENT MARKET CONDOS
In the condo arena, there are 47 units for sale, which is down from 95 last year. The properties range from a $57,900 one-bedroom condo/hotel to $425,000 for a stunning three-bedroom with a pier, boat lift and boat launch in Delavan Gardens.
